Cape Town Tandem Paragliding

Signal Hill

Take flight with tandem paragliding off Signal Hill. With just a few quick steps you’ll leave terra firma behind to enjoy a bird’s eye-view of the Mother City and Atlantic Seaboard for anything from 5 to 30 minutes. Best experienced in May to July with calmer winds and warm airstreams keeping you in the air for longer.

Combine the rush of surfing and the fun of kite flying with Kiteboarding Africa. Their 3-hour course gets you surfing the sea using the famous gusty Cape wind. Lessons include all equipment and instruction from an IKO certified guide. Once you’ve got the hang of it, test out a few tricks and see how much air you can get!

Shark cage diving with Sharkzone


The 2-hour drive from Cape Town to Gansbaai is well worth the journey to experience ‘Shark Alley.’ One of the most famous great white shark regions in the world, there’s also a huge colony of fur seals nearby. Get a crash course in local marine biology from your knowledgeable guide before diving into the water for an up close and personal viewing. If that’s too much, you can also view the sharks from the boat deck.
