Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Cape Town Fashion Week is the most talked about event on the style calendar. The programme puts Africa's top designers in the spotlight as they showcase their latest collections. Expect big crowds for local fashion favourites KLÛK CGDT, Michelle Ludek, Adriaan Kuiters and Jody Paulsen. Alongside the catwalk, there’s also a line-up of workshops, exhibitions and, of course, after parties at Cape Town’s hottest venues.

KLûK CGDT Showroom

Bree Street, CBD

Cape Town boasts being home to the flagship atelier of renowned design duo Malcolm Kluk and Christiaan Gabriel du Toit. KLûK CGDT is free to enter and features their latest ground-breaking collections, in a three-story shopping mecca that attracts fashionistas the world over. Amongst their runway-inspired pieces, you’ll also find an expertly curated selection of daywear, bridal fashion and home décor from local designers, including candles and tea from Yswara and accessories from Sobeit.

Club 31

Adderley Street, CBD

Get dressed up and paint the town red! The stylish and sophisticated Club 31 has arguably one of the best views in the city along with the hottest dance floor. Situated at the top of the Absa Building on Adderley Street, you can look down on the city below as you party up a storm. The dress code is smart, so don’t be afraid to break out your new Fashion Week attire.

Winter Spa day, Wedge view Country House

Get a winter glow before you hit the fashion shows. The spa at the Wedgeview Country House & Spa in Stellenbosch is nestled in a quiet corner of the garden of this luxury country estate. The range of spa treatments and day packages feature with their signature TheraVine products, ensuring de luxe pampering and body and soul rejuvenation. After your treatment, enjoy a delicious lunch before you head back to Cape Town, less than an hour away.

Kat van Duinen Showroom

European minimalism meets striking African design at the Kat van Duinen showroom in Woodstock. Each of the unique pieces is made in Cape Town, with her signature play on texture and print. Free entrance gets you an experience with her luxurious silks, exotic leathers and traditional prints in styles that are as wearable in a casual setting as they are on the catwalk. Don’t miss Van Duinen’s accessories collection, featuring signature handbags in ethically sourced leather.

Mondiall Kitchen & Bar

V&A Waterfront

Enjoy the spectacular mountain and harbour views of this iconic Waterfront setting where classic European brasserie décor is matched to a menu that is a contemporary take on classic cuisine.
