The SportsShow

The sprawling gardens of the picturesque Sandringham near Stellenbosch is the perfect setting for the Sportshow, South Africa's first-ever multi-sport festival, featuring spectacular entertainment, sport clinics, extreme shows, appearances by sport celebrities and an extensive range of sport-related exhibits. Whether you’re a die-hard sports enthusiast or a casual sports fan, this action-packed, celebrity-filled interactive event is not to be missed.

Jump Around Trampoline Park

Paarden Island

Chances are the last time you were on a trampoline was as a kid at a holiday resort, but this Trampoline Park is so much cooler than that. Get ready for some extreme jumping action. Jump Around is the first indoor trampoline park to land on South African shores, with 1000m² of trampoline fun so you can literally go and bounce off the walls. Step through the doors and prepare to defy gravity as you bounce from wall to wall across 50 interconnected trampolines in the “Free Jump” zone.

Imhoff Farm

Take a drive out to Imhoff Farm near Kommetjie, just 30 minutes from the CBD, for a game of action paintball. Divide up into two teams and then pit your battle wit against each other out on the course. It’s about stealth; it’s about strategy; it’s about speed; it is about dodging the dreaded paintball splat and being the last man standing.

Craft Beer Tasting

Salt River

In the Old Pals Building on Durham Avenue in Salt River you will not only find the local micro-brewery, Devil’s Peak Brewing Company where they brew some of the best craft beer around, but also their top-notch pub and restaurant The Tap Room. Sample their ales, IPAs and even a lager before sinking your teeth into sophisticated pub fare. Enjoy a craft beer and food pairing board, tuck into some of their delicious bar snacks or try their unique Cheese Burger, legendary Pulled Pork Sandwich, Tap Dawg, Red Quinoa and Chicken Salad, and Beer-battered Fish and Chips.

Stormers vs Brumbies

Newlands Stadium

It’s the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby Series and The Stormers will be clashing with Aussie powerhouse, the Brumbies, on home turf at the DHL Newlands Rugby Stadium. The Stormers will have something to prove after their miserable 19-39 defeat against the visiting Australians in June 2015. Chances are good that you and your mates will be in for a spectacle of running rugby. Hopefully the boys will turn home ground advantage and supporters’ cheers into points on the scoreboard.

Camps Bay Strip

Camps Bay

The Camps Bay strip is just the spot to kick-start a night on the town. Watch the sunset from one of the many trendy cocktail bars just meters away from the shimmering sand and lapping waves. Hop from here to one of the many restaurants for a bite to eat before hitting one of the countless clubs or lounges along Victoria Road for some action on the dance floor.
