Good Food and Wine Show

Get up close and personal with celebrity chefs, join interactive cooking demonstrations and go on a taste bud adventure. Pair your nibbles with wines from the best South African vintages, and enjoy the bustling foodie atmosphere. Those who leave inspired, will want to check out the cutting-edge cookware that’s also on offer.

Chef’s Table, Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel

Join the chefs of The Planet restaurant at the Mount Nelson Hotel as they open their kitchen and show you what goes on behind the scenes. Under executive chef Rudi Liebenberg, the team prepares dishes with seasonal and local ingredients as you watch them work from an alcove above. Take the opportunity to discuss their recipes, inspiration and tips and tricks of the trade. Finish the experience by tucking into their signature creations and enjoying the fruits of their labours. Morgenster Wine and Olive Oil Estate has nabbed the best olive oil award for seven years in a row, so you know they’re doing something right.
